The Staff
 Brian Wood - Project Leader
Brian has been involved in music for 47 years and is a prolific pedal steel guitar player, bassist and guitarist. He has been signed to a major american record label, had singles released and performed with major touring companies in Europe for many years as bass player with Dave Berry.
Brian oversees the day to day running of The S21 project, is responsible for much of its conception and direction and assists with the teaching of guitar and bass. |
Zenon Boczar
Zenon is a remarkable commercial rock/pop vocalist/guitarist and a successful recording artist. His debut album "Falling" spawned a number of singles, which have received a lot of airplay in Poland.
Zenon is a vocal and guitar mentor for the young people involved in S21 and will be helping the students make thir own recordings in the projects recording studio. |
 John Blacklock - Project Chairman
John is a prolific keyboard player and one of our busiest local musicians. He can currently be seen performing live with Real Diamond, Homeward Bound, JBlack, Drive South Duo, The Stoned Angels, The Kahunas and Dave Berry And The Cruisers.
John brings a wealth business and management experience to the S21 team, and teaches keyboards. |
Jason Wood - Guitar\ Bass Guitar Teacher
Jason is the lead guitarist for 60's Rock 'n' Roll Legend, Dave Berry And The Cruisers. He is a real guitarists guitarist, blending influences from country, blues, rock 'n' roll, jazz and rock into his extremely tasteful playing style.
Jason started learning to play the guitar 25 years ago, has been performing live for 20 years, and has been giving lessons for 15 years. He is a very well established local guitar teacher with a wealth of teaching experience and many regular private students. |
Jamie Mallender - Bass\ Guitar Teacher
Jamie is bass player for former Black Sabbath vocalist, Tony Martin with whom he has toured Russia (where he was awarded the Ambassador For Peace Medal at The Kremlin,) Czech Republic, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Greece and Turkey, appearing on the same bill with such acts as Whitesnake, Bonnie Tyler, Foreigner, Glenn Hughes, Tony Iommi, Uriah Heep, Nazareth etc... |

Brian Tucker
At age 7 Brian began learning trumpet and played in a silver band. At age 16 he took up drums and went on to play in numerous bands on the road. As well as his own musical endeavours, Brian has extensive experience working with young people.
He has his own record label - Bone Records (Ltd) which he uses to develop young bands, both in a live and recording environment. Also an experienced sound engineer, Brian has worked with Area 15, Scouting For Girls, The Hoosiers, McFly, Just Jack and many others |
